June Beer, Wine, and Liquor of the Month
The RSVP Beer of the Month is Sebago Brewing’s On a Boat. This 5.1% Kölsch-style ale was brewed in collaboration with Crosby Hops. It features the Oregon-grown Triumph hop variety, which gives it summery lemon and peach vibes. And yes, you guessed it, On a Boat is named after the classic Lonely Island collab with T-Pain. 4-packs of 16 oz cans are available for $12.99, and are best enjoyed on or near a boat.
June’s wine special is Domaine de Castelnau Picpoul de Pinet ‘Cuvée L’Etang.’ 100% Picpoul de Pinet from sunny southern France! The palate is appealing with notes of green apple, honeydew and pear with a refreshing minerality. The high acidity gives it a light body with a long-lasting finish. The flamingos on the label are a staple of this coastal part of France. Pairings: Shrimp, oysters and other shellfish, fish and chips, and sushi. $12.99 a bottle.
Our June Liquor of the Month is Wild Bevy Flok Blueberry Vodka. The vodka, distilled in Wells, is infused with the essence of summer, hand-crafted using wild blueberries and fresh spring water from the foothills of Maine. Cocktail of the Month
Blueberry Lemonade Spritz
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Wild Bevy Flok Blueberry Vodka
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 2 oz club soda
- Ice cubes
- Fresh blueberries, for garnish
- Lemon slices, for garnish
- Mint sprig, for garnish
Instructions:
Fill a shaker with ice cubes, then add the Wild Bevy Flok Blueberry Vodka, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake well until the mixture is chilled. Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice cubes, then strain the mixture into the glass. Top with club soda and stir gently. For that finishing touch, garnish with fresh blueberries, lemon slices, and a mint sprig.
