We’re not calling it spring just yet—but March in Maine is starting to feel a little less frosty and a little more hopeful.
As the daylight lingers and the snow starts to melt (slowly), it’s the perfect time to restock your bar and dream of warmer days ahead. RSVP has you covered with cozy classics and fresh picks to carry you through the in-between season.
This month we’re featuring a strong and malty Dobbelbock, an Italian red, and an Irish whiskey (in a nod to our favorite March holiday).
March Beer, Wine, and Liquor of the Month
Our March Beer of the Month is Bunker Brewing’s Quiver, a robust 7.3% German-Style Doppelbock. Quiver is strong, malty, and a vibrant amber color. Doppelbocks date back to 17th-century Munich and were traditionally brewed by monks to sustain them during fasting periods. Luckily, you don’t have to take a vow of silence (or skip dinner) to enjoy one today. 16 oz 4-pack cans are available for $14.49.
Corte Fiore Appassimento Rosso is our March Wine of the Month. This classic Italian red wine is crafted from a blend of grapes grown on coastal vineyards in southern Italy. It features aromas of wild cherry and dried plum, followed by notes of juicy fruit, bright acidity and ripe tannins. Bottles are only $12.99 each.
Our March Liquor of the Month is Slane Irish Whiskey. This triple-distilled blend of single malt and single grain whiskeys is triple cask aged for a flavor that’s complex yet smooth, with notes of vanilla and hints of spice. Bottles are available for $19.99
Cocktail of the Month
Rich, smooth, and classically balanced, The Dubliner is a refined take on an Irish whiskey cocktail. Slane Irish Whiskey meets the citrus warmth of Grand Marnier and the subtle sweetness of vermouth, finished with bright orange bitters for a beautifully layered sip that feels both timeless and sophisticated.
The Dubliner:

Ingredients:
- 2 oz Slaine Irish Whiskey
- 0.5 oz Grand Marnier
- 0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 3 dashes Orange Bitters
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir until well chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a cherry.
