Beer, Wine, and Liquor of the Month: Our June Picks

June has a way of making everything feel a little lighter. The days stretch out, calendars fill up fast, and suddenly there’s always a reason to meet up for one more drink. Rooftops, patios, backyard hangs, spontaneous happy hours—it’s officially the season of saying yes to plans.

This month is all about keeping things easy and enjoyable. Crisp pours, laid-back favorites, and bottles that fit right in whether you’re hosting friends or just unwinding after a long day in the sun. No overthinking required, just good drinks, good weather, and a bar cart ready for whatever summer decides to bring.

Ready to ease into June with some fresh flavors? This month we’re featuring a Golden Ale, a Portuguese Vinho Verde Rosé, and a 7-year-old bourbon.

June Beer, Wine, and Liquor of the Month

Orono Brewing’s Summer Ale is our June Beer of the Month, perfect for celebrating a New England Summer. It’s a delicious, sessionable 5% ABV Golden Ale featuring Maine-grown grains, wheat malt, and lemon peel. And, fun fact, the label was inspired by Jack & Lisa’s iconic fishing shack on Long Island, Maine. 16 oz 4-packs are available for $13.99.

Our June Wine of the Month is Portugal’s Broadbent Vinho Verde Rosé. Four indigenous red varietals are blended together to create this top-quality Rosé. It’s similar to Broadbent’s white Vinho Verde in terms of spritziness and low alcohol content, but with a little fuller body. Vinho Verde Rosé features notes of strawberry, pomegranate, and orange zest. Pick up a bottle for only $11.99.

Our June Liquor of the Month is Old Fitzgerald 7-Year-Old Bottled-in-Bond. Crafted with, you guessed it, seven years of care and intention, every sip of this bourbon is rich and viscous, with notes of fresh bread, brown sugar, and baking spices on the palate. The finish features a brown sugar sweetness with cinnamon that fades to a hint of oak. Bottles are available for $59.99
