This month’s cocktail recipe features our liquor of the month, Sweetgrass Farm’s Rhubarb Smash, and New England Distilling’s Gunpowder Rye Whiskey.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz. Gunpowder Rye Whiskey
- .5 oz. Sweetgrass Farm Rhubarb Smash
- .25 oz. Lemon Juice
- .5 oz. Rhubarb Simple Syrup
- 1 oz. House Sour
- 1 stick of Rhubarb for garnish
Fill a shaker with ice, then add all of the ingredients. Shake vigorously for a few seconds, then strain into a coupe glass. Sink ¼ oz rhubarb syrup into the coupe bottom. Pull a piece of rhubarb from a rhubarb stick (like you would pull string cheese). Wrap the ribbon around your finger and place it at the edge of the glass as a garnish.
