This month we’re showcasing a dark mild ale, a Cabernet Sauvignon from California, and a rich espresso liqueur.

January Beer, Wine, and Liquor of the Month

Our January Beer of the Month is Mast Landing’s Weatherproof, an English-Style Dark Mild Ale with a light mouthfeel that clocks in at 4%. Shannon Ridge High Elevation Cabernet Sauvignon is our January Wine of the Month. This California Cab features a deep crimson color with aromas of dark chocolate, plum, cranberry, and cassis. Cocktail of the Month 

This warm, comforting twist on the classic toddy is perfect for winter. The coffee liqueur brings depth, maple adds seasonal sweetness, and the citrus keeps it from feeling heavy. It’s an ideal après-dinner or après-snowfall cocktail.

Fireside Coffee Toddy

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Atomic Black Coffee Liqueur
  • 1 oz dark rum or bourbon
  • 0.5 oz maple syrup
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 3–4 oz hot water
  • Cinnamon stick and lemon peel, for garnish

Instructions:

Add Atomic Black Coffee Liqueur, rum or bourbon, maple syrup, and lemon juice to a heat-safe mug. Top with hot water and stir gently to combine. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a lemon peel.
