Can you believe it’s already May?! Warmer weather, longer days, and more time spent outside – we love this time of year.
Let’s start with our beer of the month pick. We’re loving the Cryogenic Hypersleep Hazy IPA from Woodland Farms Brewery. Out of Kittery, Maine, this double IPA pairs well with spicy food and intense flavors.
Now onto wine. Our go-to for backyard grilling season is Danaus Tinto, a rich Spanish red. With a vibrant cherry and plum balance, this wine has some spice. To break it down even more, it’s 45% Tempranillo (an early Spanish black grape variety), 45% Garnacha (a dark-skinned red grape), and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
And for our featured liquor of the month – it wouldn’t be Cinco de Mayo without tequila! We’re sipping on Milagro Silver, a 100% blue agave tequila known for its smoothness and fresh taste. Because it’s on the lighter side, we enjoy it with a very simple preparation of fresh lime and a little sea salt. ¡Perfecto!
