As autumn settles in and the days grow shorter, November invites us to slow down and savor the cozy comforts of the season. It’s the perfect time to gather around the table, raise a glass with friends, and enjoy the flavors that make this time of year so special. From hearty pours to festive favorites, we’ve got just what you need to keep the good times — and great drinks — flowing all month long.
This month we’re spotlighting a rich chocolate porter with hints of orange, a French Malbec from the historic Cahors appellation, and a toasted bourbon featuring High Toast and High Vanilla.
November Beer, Wine, and Liquor of the Month
Our November Beer of the Month is Allagash’s Chocolate Orange Porter, inspired by the tempting combination of chocolate and orange. Cocoa nibs deliver notes of dark chocolate and roast coffee, while a combination of sweet orange peel and orange zest draws out a hint of citrus in this 7% ABV beer’s finish. 16 oz 4-pack cans are available for $13.99.
Mary Taylor Cahors Malbec, from the historic Cahors appellation in Southwest France, is our November Wine of the Month. This Malbec is medium to full body; velvety yet with a gently tannic texture. It features flavors of ripe dark fruit (black plum, black cherry), spice (black pepper, clove), and a minerality that gives freshness and structure. Pick up a bottle for $13.99.
Our November Liquor of the Month is Yellowstone Toasted Bourbon, the first bourbon featured in Yellowstone’s new Special Finishes Collection. Using a combination of High Toast, American Oak Double Toast, High Vanilla, Rickhouse, and Spicerack staves, Toasted kicks the Special Finishes Collection off on a strong note. 750ml bottles are available for $39.99.
