Beer, Wine, and Liquor of the Month: Our September Picks

As we head into the early days of fall, it’s time to celebrate the change of seasons with some beverages that give off Autumn vibes. Whether you’re enjoying a crisp evening on the patio, gathering with friends for a football game, or simply winding down after a busy day, we have everything you need to make the season’s moments even more enjoyable.

This month we’re featuring a seasonal German-style Märzen, a fruity Hungarian Grüner Veltliner, and a smooth Canadian whisky infused with the taste of fall (aka apples).

September Beer, Wine, and Liquor of the Month

Our September Beer of the Month is Definitive Brewing’s Oktoberfest. This German-style Märzen is a light copper color and features tasting notes of caramel, honey, and lightly toasted biscuits. It has a clean finish and medium body that provides just the right amount of depth and drinkability, and comes in at 5.6%. 16 oz 4-pack cans are available for $13.99.

Count Karolyi Grüner Veltliner is our September Wine of the Month. This delicate Hungarian wine features a bright yellow color and fresh aromas of stone fruit, citrus, and white pepper. The palate is wonderfully fruity with balanced acidity and a full mouthfeel. It pairs well with vegetables, Asian cuisine, and lighter meats. Pick up a bottle for $10.99.

Our September Liquor of the Month is Crown Royal Apple, a smooth Canadian whisky infused with crisp apple flavor. Perfect for early fall, it pairs just as well with fresh cider as it does in a refreshing spritz. 750ml bottles are available for $26.99.
